Primary Duties Highway Maintenance:
Maintains Township roads in good condition with industry standard preventative maintenance practices.
Install, inventory, and maintain road signs.
Provide snow removal of Township streets, parking lots, and sidewalks where necessary.
Maintain vehicles and equipment in a state of good repair and readiness.
Stormwater Management (MS4):
Maintain and inspect storm water infrastructure.
Parks & Recreation:
Maintain grass, trees, and other vegetation at Township parks and other Township property and buildings.
Maintain and inspect all existing playground equipment, ballfields, outbuildings, and common areas in a clean and safe condition.
Effective Communication & Organization Ability to communicate effectively with both oral and written skills.
Able to effectively address residents with difficult situations in a respectful and logical manner, while maintaining good relationships and excellent customer service skills.
Must possess strong organizational skills and be sensitive to safety issues.
Must possess a positive attitude.
Performs all other duties as may be required and/or assigned by the Board of Supervisors and is on call 24/7 during winter maintenance operations and emergencies.
This is an at-will position.
