- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
- Sweep or scrub floors.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
Skills:
- Ability to help with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Experience working in catering or banquet settings is a bonus.
- Willingness to assist with bussing tables or other tasks as required.
