Job DetailsWe are seeking a Paralegal with experience in Trusts and Estates to join our Legal teamThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in Trust Administration, Estate Planning, and federal gift taxDuties include communication and coordination with clients and financial institutions, preparation of probate and estate administration documents, valuation of assets, preparation of accounts, maintenance of databases and Orphans' Court filingsThis will position will support two attorneys
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in the preparation of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
Manage trust administration, including funding and distribution of assets, and maintenance of trust records.
Prepare federal gift tax returns and assist with estate tax returns.
Review and analyze financial and legal documents related to trusts and estates.
Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions regarding trust and estate matters.
Maintain accurate and organized electronic and paper files related to trusts and estates.
Conduct legal research on various trust and estate issues.
Attend client meetings and assist with the preparation of meeting materials.
Qualifications:
5
years experience in trusts and estates administration.
PA or NJ experience requiredParalegal Certificate is a plus.
Experience with PA inheritance tax returns and federal estate and gift tax returns is a plus.
